enthroned as Bishop of Beheira; Pope Tawadros during the enthronement: “He has been a bishop for ten years, having served in Cairo and Alexandria. He is well known for his ecclesiastical and spiritual leadership. We present him to be the Bishop of Beheira, succeeding the Thrice-Blessed Metropolitan Pakhomious, who served the diocese for 54 years.” He added: “He has been a monk for 30 years, and by the grace of God, he will be worthy of this service. He will become the bishop of Beheira and its affiliated regions, and will oversee the churches of Sadat City and its surrounding areas, which include a large number of churches. We preferred not to attach this area to any diocese at present.”
