born in Koura, Lebanon. Bachelor in Architectural Engineering from Tishreen University, Lattakia, Syria (2005) and a License in Theology from the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology, Balamand University, Tripoli, Lebanon in 2005, a certificate in Iconography from Art Panselinos School, Thessaloniki, and a PhD in Patristics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2011. His doctoral thesis is titled: "The Virtue and Vice in the Teaching of St. Basil the Great."
He was ordained a deacon in 2008, a priest in 2009, and an Archimandrite in 2010. After being appointed as the Director of Students in the Institute of Theology in Balamand, he also taught the courses on Patristics and Christian Ethics. Later on, he served the parish of Minyara, the Archdiocese of Akkar. He was elected by the Holy Synod Metropolitan of Buenos Aires and All Argentine on October 5, 2018.
He has written several articles in specialized academic journals (Annals of St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology) and pastoral articles in the Nashra Patriarchal Magazine. He also participated in several inter-Christian conferences such as the Conference on Orthodox Spirituality organized by the Monastery of Bose, Italy, and the Conference on the Triodion period organized by the Catholic Media Center in Lebanon. He also gave several talks in Lebanon and Syria, and organized many activities and camps for the youth.
